    Here they be(lighting isn't the best):





    on floor:
    4.73 mil HRA, CMP barreled rcvr (very very nice) bought off a member of this forum
    left to right:
    5.49 mil HRA FG
    5.66 mil HRA FG
    2.63 mil SA FG
    5.79 mil SA FG
    5.84 mil SA SG
    5.87 mil SA FG

    Thanks for posting! I have always loved the Garands. Shot one at a high power shoot once, but haven't been fortunate enough to own one. Great looking rifles!

    I love the blond wood... Is that how it came or did you refinish it?

    That was my first and my first attempt at refinishing one. It's a birch stock that I made too dark, sanded again and reapplied the stain, and that's how it ended up. I wouldn't mind picking up another birch stock to try again, I'm not in any hurry.
