Excellent ... I hope that this is a trend.

There is also a big push from the gun games crowd for STI to add a .40 S&W to the Spartan line. Maybe next year.

I'm new to 9mm/1911 and STI. What's the general consensus on these?

I understand Armscor makes these for STI, and the Spartan has STI parts.

    What's capacity? What's mag availability?

Ramped/Non-ramped barrel? What's the significance of that?

    Thanks guys!

I ended up picking up the Para LTC 9mm last week(for more $$$)...
So far, I like it, eventho I'm not too keen on the alloy frame.
I also put the deposit down on 9mm 1911 my dealer finaly got, which I've been searching high and low for for the past 4 years - Springfield Loaded 1911 in Stainless, chambered in 9mm with carry sight(I've found one with adjustable sight in the past, which I do not want).

    I'm all in to 9mm 1911 now!
