    Default AK47 Recoil Reducing Stock

Does anyone out there have any experience with the AK47 Recoil Reducing Stock Tube? I'm trying to figure out if the stock tube accepts Mil-Spec or Commerical buttstocks. I would imagine it's commerical butt stocks but i can't tell just by looking at it.

Any help would be greatly appreciated!

I emailed the company using their "contact us". Haven't heard back yet. My ?guess? is that it is mil-spec, considering all the military stuff they sell. Looks pretty cool. I might have to get it someday.

No I haven't. Didn't think the AK needs one.

Looks interesting. AK's really don't have that much recoil in the first place, but if one were to be sensitive to it, I'd imagine this would help.

I'd also imagine that it would induce very easy, perhaps too easy, bump firing.

If I remember correctly there was a stock designed for the Ruger 10/22 that was similar to this, specifically for that purpose, which was later outlawed by the ATF.

Atkins Accelerator. ATF said it was legal, they shipped then there was a recall since the ATF changed their mind.

Got a response from the marketing manager of Israeli-Weapons and it is "commercial". Well, I guessed wrong.

Was thinking the exact same thing .... OF all the rifles I've shot I seriously think the AK has some of the lightest recoil out there

Don't think this product would help that much with muzzle climb but less felt recoil might help with shot recovery. Especially a petite female or a young'n who might not be as manly men as some. And those transitioning from 22lr to 762x39. Might help with the "kicked by a mule" effect perceived by new shooters. The product does fit a niche. Not just women or kids, but maybe some guys who have had shoulder injuries or something. I don't need it, but putting one on the beater WSAR for new shooters might make it a little more fun when shooting many rounds(which is fun). Not purist, but what the hell, to each their own.
