1914 mauser
i've developed an affection to the small pocket and vest pocket pistols of the teens and twenties....pocket carry was as popular then as now.....probably more then.
best part about them...they can often be found now for cheap....nobody wants these little .25 and .32 acps, that are all steel and heavy buggers for their sizes.
found this guy earlier this evening.
most were made after the first war for export. this one is an early one of this series.
the serial range started at 13500 and ran to almost 300k in 1923...this is #56076.....probably 1914/15 production date.....but certainly during the war as it carries an imperial acceptance stamp. odds are this was a private purchase by an officer.Last edited by brian; September 26th, 2012 at 05:24 PM.
