    Are you talking "Airsoft" here?

I can't fathom pointing an AR-15 at anybody and assuming that "little blue plastic bullets that sting" would be all that would come out of the barrel. I wouldn't want to be on EITHER end of that assumption.

i have a case of the plastic 9mm, i wouldn't want to get hit with one of those (at close range anyway).

    are you talking about simunitions:

    http://www.simunition.com/cartridges/fx_training_en.php

if so, you need a special gun (training version of real gun) to shoot them out of or a conversion kit for your regular AR.

also, i believe FX restricts who they will sell simunitions to.

Thats because you have to purchase through them, not just buy it off the internet.

Are you looking for the blue wooden rounds that (If memory serves me) were Finnish in origin? They had a wood tip, would not cycle the rifle, and were primer fired.

The only other plastic round I can think of is the speer plastic bullet, which is also primer fired, and only comes in .38 Special and .44 mag.

Your best choices for force on force is either RAP4 paintball or any flavor of quality airsoft.
