Default TRansfer of C&R pistol to nonlicensee

This might well have been covered, but can a C&R holder transfer a C&R pistol from his collection to a nonlicensee? I know there is an entry in the bound books for nonlicensees, but I wanted to make sure.

I found both triggers to be terrible to me so the triggers are on a scale to me.. The Glock was a crisper suck and the XD was a more mushy suck. They are in the same family, SR9 (heavy suck), Glock (crisp heavy suck), XD( lighter mushy suck), M&P(heavy mushy suck).

Sure you can, but it must be transfered through a FFL.

Sale must be handled same as "regular" handgun.
Just make sure you are "disposing of unneeded gun to improve collection", and don't drift into , " buying and selling as a business "

If the C&R handgun was made before 1898 you can dispose of it like you would a blackpowder/muzzleloader.

Thanks folks. Assuming I can trade to
    another c&r holder without issue.

Indeed, just log the entry and you'll be fine.

As others said, so long as you don't drift into 'selling for profit' you'll be fine. I make sure I have at least one entry into my book for every exit. Hey, I change what I like often :P
Just because 'perfect' is impossible does not mean we should settle for 'broken'.
