I just want some feed back about this 1911. The Operator is a beautiful Pistol to me and, i'm sure it would be a excellent choice for my 1st 1911 or would it? Give me your thoughts and opinions on this one guys.
Also some locations where i can pick one up for a nice price.Protect yourself at all times.... purchase a firearm. It's your right!

I was looking at this one as my first as well. Ended up with a Loaded model instead because I didn't really need the tactical rail or night sights (I believe they come with them standard). Heard nothing but good things about it. If it is the same as the Loaded model with different sights, grips, and rail then I say go for it. Mine has been perfect so far.

I would buy most any Springfield Armory 1911. Good stuff for the money.

I almost went with an Operator just before my search for a Dan Wesson Valor turned one that I could afford
From what I learned, the Operator is about as good as you can get for the money. My next 1911 will be either the Operator, Colt's new rail 1911, or a Guncrafter Industries Model 1 (If I win the lottery!!!!)

I bought a Springfield Armory Lightweight Operator last year; if it helps, take a look here for my pics/comments:

All in all, it's a great gun. I've done more shooting with it since the last post in that thread, and improved my groups a bit with it. It's without a doubt an accurate gun, more accurate than me.
