Charles Daly 1911s with polymer grips are fetching about $600+ new. The price you found is in line for used. CDs are basic entry level 1911s, but some have feeding issues.

The poly framed ones are double stack. so the grip will be larger than a standard 1911 and not all standard 1911 parts will fit.

I forget which model he has, but my dad has a CD 1911 and it works great. Never had any problems with it, and it shoots nice. I'm not sure what he payed for it because he traded in a Ruger + cash for it...

    Its basicaly an Armscore 1911.

Like any 1911, some have issues, some runs perfectly.
any parts interchange with any off the shelf 1911 parts.
For what they are going for used, I think its pretty good deal for either just shooter, or base for some simple buildup...

I'd buy one if I find it that cheap myself...
