Police Hunt Suspect After Cop Shooting in West Chester

Police have released a sketch of a man (above) wanted in connection with the late Sunday night shooting of a Westtown-East Goshen regional police department officer.

The suspect and his woman passenger sped off toward West Chester Pike (Route 3) in a Honda Accord with possible Delaware license tags. Both remained at large as of Monday morning.

Last I heard - No update. WEGO PD apparently did some form of roadblock last week 1 week after the shooting in the area.

This story strikes me a little odd. Most of the cops I know make a note, or they have the video running, of the car and plate number before they get out of the car to approach the one they just stopped.

I would not be surprised if they pick these two up soon.

He may be holed up in a home in the Hill District section of Pittsburgh with the man who belted his neighbor in the face and threatened him with a weapon. The police don't really have any authority to open the door on that house to try and make contact with anyone inside. He could live the rest of his life there and never be caught.
