Maryland Bill HB 52
I have just been notified by our Virginia equivalent (VCDL) that Maryland has had a new bill introduced to give reciprocity to PA, VA and DE concealed permit holders.
I think we all realize that this will be an uphill battle.
However, it may well be worth communications with legislators in MD to support this.

Re: Maryland Bill HB 52
Actually at yesterday's Rally in Annapolis , Del Smigel, the author of the Bill told us he had brain fade, and forgot to include WV, ammendment will be added to include them.
He is one of the good guys, and wants to have complete reciprosity, but he thinks by starting with adjacent States we might actually get it passed, and then keep adding states later.
We would greatly apreacate to have our PA brethren send communications to our legislators how this might encourage you to visit Md for shopping, recreation, sightseeing, etc.
Listings for all the General Assy can be found on a sticky under " Maryland 2A Issues" at www.mdshooters.com
Support for this bill, and Md political activity generally , is spearheaded by

Re: Maryland Bill HB 52
This bill never made it out of committee. Today was the vote on whether to pass to the full legislature for discussion.
From the Fans of HB52 page on Facebook:

Re: Maryland Bill HB 52
I'd be willing to be that if carry reform ever passed in Maryland, they'd make up a bunch of silly rules just to make the permit useless. No carry in bars, no carry in churches, no carry at sporting events or concerts, no carry at parades, no carry in parks, no carry . . . well, you get the idea.
