I like that...a LOT actually. Contrasts like that have always caught me eye, I am saving for a Sig Equinox model now for that exact reason!

    That actually looks pretty cool.

I love the look of polished metal but HATE, HATE, HATE the prep work involved. Magnesium looks incredible when it's polished up right.

What did you use to polish the barrel and parts? I like the looks of it and may do similar to mine.
    Looks good BTW.

All I used was a Brillo pad that was VERY VERY lightly oiled so it would not scar anything and then very lightly at first to remove the color adn then just fast to polish but like I said I used a Metal cleaning base before and during the entire process once agian so I wouldn't scratch anything.. the only problem is making sure that everything (atleast the barrel and guide rod) have a THIN coat of oil, But i carry this with me everyday so daily matenice isn't a problem. I just thought it looked sexier than just the whole polished/brushed slide I just wanted only a little detail but u can also tell I didn't do my trigger just INCASE of ever getting rust..thats the LAST place I want it so.. I dunno im very happy with it.. It of course looks better in real life but it certainly shines more and I just love the look of that. Not to bright.. just enough..
