    yes, i understand. i made my way to his front door. im just saying that if they attacked me, i would have shot them. period.

    For those of you who lawfully carry in Ohio, ORC allows you to shoot a dog to protect yourself, but not to protect another dog. That having been said, the last case I heard of on the OFCC website involved a woman who shot a dog to protect her dog. She was not prosecuted. The general feeling appears to be, "Keep your dog under control. If it endangers people or their pets, it might get shot."

    So you go into someones else yard. Uninvited no less. And you would shoot the guys dog if it attacked you.

    If you would come to my house uninvited, and shoot my first line of alert (my dogs), guess who is getting shot next? The fence and dogs are there for a reason.
