I have mentioned it to you before, the McDade/Lackawanna Co Park violation.

I was following up on it well after Jahwarrior was run through the wringer. Apparently he contacted just about every public official around who could possibly have something to do with it and our searches (mostly his ) have basically come down to Dominic Manetti, Chief of the Deputies for the Lackawanna co sheriff is in charge of that park. Ive sent him several emails, and I know they have at least been opened, but I got no reply. I was thinking about talking to my state rep... dont know what good it will do though.

I talked to a deputy about it, he asked me not to OC there, because he would either have to A. arrest me for violating it which would land him in hot water or B. ignore it which would put his ass on the burner for not upholding the rules of the park.

But I dont want to side track this thread. PM me if anyone wants to go further with this. I will keep on it.

Good idea. Let's try to keep this thread focused on the situation in Guilford Twp. If y'all would prefer, I can spin the other posts here off into a separate thread.

I would be interested in attending the meeting as well, since I do live in Guilford Township as well. Let me know when it is and I will go....O.C of course

I would be willing to attend the meeting as well depending on when it is.

Greg that's not the first time that ordinance has been "out of service"
I wouldn't join any club that would have me as a member

I will be living just down the road soon, if all goes well. I am normally not one to push the issue, but I've realized lately that if I don't stand up for my rights, who will? I feel that if I want any rights that are guaranteed to me, I need to get off my ass and speak my mind when it matters. Let me know when the meeting is and I will do my best to be there as a future resident.
