    Default saiga shotgun conversion

    is it possible to convert a saiga shotgun into a bull pup design? i.e. mag behind the trigger etc.....a friend of mine wants to have his saiga converted to that configuration.

    I have seen it done But not in 12 ga......I think It was either 20 ga or 410. ga I saw it in cant remember which. Hope this will help some

    Yes it is




    That one was on gunbroker a while back. A few have shown up on the Saiga-12 forum from time to time. The older one that I can think of was done using a muzzlelite bullpup kit that was designed for a mini 14(pretty sure it was the mini 14 version).

    There is also that route but umm..haven't heard much on that in a long while (ie no gab on the board, no updates from the site)

    For the homebrew guys I can think of maybe <5 that have posted about making one. Most of the problems were in finding a suitable host kit and somehow rigging the whole thing together with enough faith to fire off a 12 gauge shell.

    One of the better homebrew guys, without a kit.
