not much to say i bought the one that fit best in my hands, and i just wanted to know what other people thought about it.

I just recently picked one up myself. Sort of a self Christmas present. As far as size for conceal carry and the 13+1 capacity of 9mm, you have to like that.

I added pierce grip extensions to the mags, the gun feels great in the hand and points like a charm. I haven't had the chance to put a lot of rounds through her yet but from the limited time I have spent at the range there is very little felt recoil, very easy to keep on target and get a nice grouping. I love it so far! The biggest downfall I have seen so far is the lack of holsters for the xd pistols. Other than that, great firearm.

have had an xd40 for 4 years. i love it, it is my primary duty weapon (service model). not a big fan of the 9 though

Who cares what others think of it, go buy a case of ammo and shoot the piss out of it and tell us what you think of it. Get some training, a good holster, a few more spare mags and learn it inside and out. Then, maybe one day you will see the light and buy an all metal gun

Learn the rules about carrying inside and out. Get training. (Which is something I have to do yet). Overall just enjoy the hobby and standing up for your rights..
