Hot Shot Sports in Schnecksville
I was searching the internet for local shops that have reloading equipment and came across Hot Shot Sports in Schnecksville (Lehigh Valley). It is about 5 minutes from my house and I've never even heard of it. Does anyone on the forum have any experience with this place or know of anyone who has.
I was thinking about checking it out on my way home from work today but I called the contact number (610-799-5792) and it just went to a unsetup answering machine.
Any information would be helpful. ThanksLast edited by danp; October 4th, 2011 at 01:37 PM.

Ive been useing them for platted bullets for two years. Great people to work with(no pressure to spend). His hours are a little rough so call befor you go. Good pricing on extreme bullets. Walt schneck is the owner a real nice guy.
Every question he had an answer for always in a good mood always has stock !

Walt is a good guy and while his shop might be smaller than some, it is packed with lots of quality items as he knows what shooters want because he is one.

Re: Hot Shot Sports in Schnecksville
I've been in here a few times and they are great people. Small shop in a converted garage but as has been noted a very good selection.
Bought a S&W 686 from them a few weeks ago. They couldn't get through to PICS while I was there because there was a gun show that day, but they called it in the next day (Sunday) and called me to arrange for me to pick it up that afternoon. Nice service!
They haven't been raising prices on ammo they had in the shop, but as they get new stock in it is priced higher because they had to pay more for it. Even so, they've got the best prices I've seen on factory ammo in .38 spl, 9 mm, and .40 S&W (reloads at the range are a bit cheaper).
Walt is very knowledgeable about reloading and caters to reloaders. Tons of dies and primers on the shelves.
