Can I use hunters safety class for Florida LTCF Non Res?

Can I use my hunters safety class as the required training for a Florida non residential concealed carry? How to I get my card for hunters safety since I lost the orginal?

Yes you can.

Replacing Card

I have heard however that FL will not accept a "replacement card" as you are looking to obtain. Might be easier for you just to retake the class.

$10 for replacement card that may not be accepted....or take another free class that you know WILL be accepted.

Sure does. See Page 4 of the FL application.

Having the actual FL license would give you other states that PA doesn't give you....

Yup yup. That was one the of selling points to getting a few of my friends to come along and take the HTE course. Not only does it allow them to hunt, but they can use that certification to obtain their florida non-res permit.

ETA: Yes, having your florida non-res permit and ltcf gives you a total of 34 or 36 states you can carry in, forgot which number exactly.

Know about the other state thing. Example Ohio can get N.H. non resident that is honored in PA of course we can't go thru N.H. to Ohio.
