    Art,

If the store's open when I get home I'll be in for the first time, never been there before.

I wish I could give you guys a better idea when the store will reopen... but unfortunately that's out of my hands at the moment.

This is why attorneys make the big bucks.

Hopefully it will be in the next few days...

As soon as the attorneys give us the green light, the doors will be open for business again.

Congratulations Art. I use the range there frequently. Do you expect to bring Tommy back?

I don't personally have a problem with Tom... and I actually genuinely like the guy. He's always been pleasant and helpful to me when I came in the store. I'm not sure if he feels the same about me though... as I 'kinda think he was expecting this store to be handed to him, instead of me...

There is still room for him up there... but whether or not he wants to work for me... will be up to him. I've been in situations like this in the past... and generally speaking, two roosters in the hen house hasn't worked out too well.

He needs to understand, it would be better for him if he works with me, say, as "Assistant Manager"... instead of trying to undermine my position in the store.

I haven't seen or heard of any complaints about him at all... so he can still be an asset to the store. He knows guns well and he knows how the store operates.

The only possible problem I could imagine is with any agreements or requirements from the Sheriff or BATF. I'm pretty sure they don't want either of the Fishers anywhere near the store, but I don't know what their position is with regard to any current/past employees of the store.

this is a crock art seriously,
you dont have a clue as for the store being handed to me NO i never expected that at all i have busted my ass trying to change that place only to listen to there garbage. i have been running that place on my own for year and never needed anybody.
they have been stringing me along for 6 month about buying it been lie after lie after lie.
as for me with the atf they dont have a problem with me i talk with them on a reguler basis. they would like to see the store in my hands.
if you dont beleive me go out an talk to jimmy out at gun trader on 61 he will fill you in ask him how they reported him to the atf for tradeing guns for heroin and see what happened.
you are walking into a ambush art and you dont even see it comeing.

It appears guys that your differing perspectives are a mute point at this time.

    READING EAGLE HEADLINE 1-20-2010

Local police and federal agents raided a St. Lawrence gun dealership this morning and are in the process of confiscating its inventory.

A fleet of about six large moving vans and a dozen agents from the federal Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives and members of the Central Berks Regional Police Department descended on the Gun Gallery, 2807 Perkiomen Ave., about 8 and started taking empty boxes into the building.

Agents at the scene refused to comment on what they were doing or why. However, it was clear to bystanders that the authorities were there to confiscate the gun shop’s inventory.

The gun shop and shooting gallery has been closed since its owner, Jay A. Fisher, 48, of 2200 Highland Ave., Lower Alsace Township, was arrested Jan. 3, following a domestic dispute that resulted in a police standoff at his home.
