Default Making corrections on Form 1 prior to mailing it out?

I just got back my Form1 from my PD to register for a 10.5" lower. However, I had a sudden change of heart and wanted to go with a 11.5". Can I white out the 10.5" and write in the desired 11.5" along with changes to the overall length? I believe a 11.5" bbl will give an overall 26" since I had 25" for the 10.5"?

EDIT: I have been advised not to make changes to the form.

Is it necessary to have a new form filled out and signed over again? Or is it okay to run a 11.5 on a registered 10.5" lower?

It is OK to make corrections on the form.
Just take a pen, put a line through the incorrect info, then initial it.
then put the correct info above(or below) it.

You are submitting a form to manufacture a firearm. The Govt. wants to know the configuration at the time of manufacture.

General consensus is that as long as you have the means to return it to the "as manufactured" specs. you can run any upper on it.

However if you cannot make it match the form 1, then you need to notify the ATF of the new specs.

With that in mind, don't make it to a configuration that doesn't match the form.
