Cool. If you simply drove there, you'd likely be in and out in less than 20 minutes.
Both the wife and I were processed in less than 15 minutes each! Those guys are great! While many claim to support the right, precious few support the practice.

Re: York LTCF Renewal
I just got my permit after Christmas and was out in less than 20 min. I turned in my wifes app because she had to work and she got the call the next morning and I took here down to pick it up. she was out in less than 10 min. I We both dealt with the heavy set guy and he was a very nice guy.

Re: York LTCF Renewal
Mine took a day, I went in filled out my renewal(implant from lancaster)and handed it to one of the sheriff deputies, unfortnately the guy that usually does the LTCF just went to lunch, that is why I had to come back the next day. they never called any of my references...

Re: York LTCF Renewal
Plan on going tomorrow to renew. Anybody know the hours? Didn't see it on their website and I would like to go early.
Would like to try the lockers as well...

Re: York LTCF Renewal
Well, unfortunately they said the computers in H-burg were down today, so I would need to leave the form and they will contact me.
But, I wanted to try the locker thing, which I was really nervous about. It was very friendly and not even a raised eybrow. My version below.
S: Sir put your coat in the bin
Me: I have a sidearm to check
S: Oh, well we can help you over here
Put my xdm in the locker (which got stuck when he tried to open the door later. Something about my gun being too big )
S: Are you an Officer?
Me: No sir.
S: Ok, can you leave your lctf in the locker.
Me: Well, actually, I am here for a renewal and will likely have to turn it in.
S: Ok, just sign here.
Then followed by small talk about the snow, etc...
Then I kept setting off the metal detector which I found funny, because they had my gun....(I know other things set it off, it was just a point of humor)
When I retrived the gun, the grip kept gettting stuck inside the locker. He joked that it was too big and then said, You can never have too big of a gun
I give them two thumbs up for the treatment out in the lobby. Great experience, as it should be.
