Ok guys i have a few questions..

Alright now ive recently been contemplating a suppressor, not because it would be cool, more or less i always wear double hearing protection.. unless its 22lr, id like to be able to cut back to just plugs, and honestly it would make range time alot nicer.. because often it seems a friend will call in the midst and ask if i mind if they come. and i run outta hearing protection fast.

So what all do i need to do, i read through the stuff on here the actual ATF document confuses me, beyond belief.. I live in centre county.

as for your friendfs, tell them to buy some earplugs, thats not your job

I believe you need to fill out the FORM 4, unless you plan on making the suppressor yourself. if you are making it yourself, then Form 1.

Fill out compliance form and get 2 finger print cards from the ATF.

Got o ATF.gov and go to FORMs. Then under the sub category, select Order Forms.

Order 2x Form 4 (Transfer NFA item) or Form 1 (Make NFA item)
1x Compliance Form
2x finger print cards

You should be able to get most of the paper work from a class 3 dealer if they have suppressors in stock. They can help in getting you started on the paperwork and how to proceed with everything.
