    Thanks to jcabin, bought a nice gun belt today locally for $27 bucks!!nice belt by 511.I can see and feel the difference..thanks guys.

    the only other beltless option is a fannypack...but you'd look like a tool wearing one. fannypacks scream "I HAVE A CONCEALED WEAPON!" they're almost as bad as those safari styled "concealment" vests.

    And every guy who wears one of those vests looks the same to me.
    Mustache, baseball cap(always), jeans or dockers, dress shoes. Usually neatly dressed, glasses. They look like they just came back from a training course and forgot to take off their gear.

    They look like poorly disguised under cover police.
    A criminal will pick them out instantly.

    the last time i went to NYC, i almost wore one, on purpoae, just to see what kind of reaction i'd get.


    of course, i was unarmed. i just wanted to see if i got "the look".

    The Galco Belly Band is another option for carrying without a belt. I wouldn't recommend it for anyone who's overweight though, as it looks pretty strange when it flattens some, but not all of one's beer gut! Not as good as a high quality holster and belt, but much better than a holster without a belt.

    thanks for your help guys,went with a 511 belt and milt sparks summer special 2. I did want owb ,but it gives me a reason to lose a few lb's..and go iwb..
