Default Prices on SIG 552 .22LR rifle

What is everyone paying for the new Sig 552 rifle?
Any idea what dealer cost is?
    Thanks!

    its a 522, not a 552.

I paid $429 for mine. just walked into the store on Nov 4th, they had been on sale in select areas i guess since the 1st. I saw it and had to have it. put a $100 deposit on it, and picked it up the following week.

I absolutely love mine. just got the hand guard rails installed that i ordered from SIG. but they forgot to include one of the nuts, so I'm going to have to run to the hardware store to get one.

Guns don't kill people, it's mostly the bullets.

I've seen them well over $500.00 at some places on the net.

Mine was just under $470.00 retail OTD from Sportsmans Supply in Butler, but I'm seeing postings of folks getting them cheaper from sources on the net. Factoring in shipping and xfer fees and they were still cheaper than mine.

    Who knew.

Guess you'll have to Google around to see has 'em and for what price.

I paid $433 OTD. Only problem is that I ordered it on Dec. 2 and still waiting for it to come in.

That could be a good thing!

Your patience may be rewarded with one of the "Version 2.0" 522's; comes with the Swiss OD-green furniture that will cost us Ver 1.0 folx some serious money, plus a free set of the special-fit rails.

    Not bad for waiting.

Ok, I've seen OD green one in a gun shop in Johnstown for $500.
Locally here there's a black one in a gun shop for $450 + tax & xfer.

OK, makes sense. The green one is the new version, but I didn't hear of any price bump from the original all-black ones.
My bad; should have assumed it would be a bit more as no vendor is gonna make such changes without charging more.

I picked one up on New Years Eve for $429 plus tax. I also picked up a basic red-dot for $45 that the store had on sale. In case you're also interested in mags, I just picked up an additional one from topgunsupply.com for a few bucks cheaper than from the sig website (which was also back ordered last I checked.

One of my preferred local shops (Insite Firearms) has it for $499 which I was willing to pay. Especially since you can download a $25 off coupon from their website bringing the price down to $474. More than I can get it for on the web but I like to spread some love to the local establishments too. Went to get it but all they had was the OD green. I prefer the black so I passed.

Hmmm. With that in mind, it makes the wait a little more bearable.
