Wierd pistol size question (G30 related)

Ok guys, heres my question: What 9mm can I get that will fit my Glock 30 holsters? My EDC is a Glock 30 and I love it, but .45 is expensive as hell. I have a couple of really nice (read:fucking expensive) holsters that I like a lot, and would like to carry the 9mm on occasion. The same as your Glock 19 will fit in your Glock 23 holster, will the XD9c fit with the 30 holsters? M&P9c? ANy other suggestion?

Thats what I was afraid of. 10mm is pretty much the only handgun caliber MORE expensive than .45acp!

Maybe think about reloading as another option.

almost any glock will fit
all teh 9mm and .40 glocks are 30mm wide, while the 10mm and .45 are 32.5mm

from my personal exp. unless its a kydex/REALLY stiff leather, that 2.5mm wont matter.

are they slide types? thumb breaks? IWB?
a slide style OWB, with thumb break should work on just about any glock

g29/30 is a wide gun, i doubt any 9mm will have a good fit in those holsters.

Thats interesting, maybe it would be worth it to go to a shop and see if they will let me try it. To answer, my IWB/OWB options were a Crossbreed Supertuck and a Blackhawk Serpa, both of which are great. Just recently I decided to blow my wad on custom leather and got a Black Ops Pro from Pure Kustom. So far, its freaking awesome. It goes IWB like a VersaMaxII and can also be worn OWB and concealed very effectively via some "pancake" slots. I have a shitload of other cheaper holsters like we all do, but I never wear any of them.

You can easily re-heat the CrossBreed supertuck with a hair dryer and remold it to work with many different pistols.

I'd suggest trying your G30's holster with a G19. If your holster has a retention strap, it might work OK. A retention holster that is dependent on the fit of the gun (no strap) won't work.
Decent holsters aren't too expensive. You can buy a nice Don Hume or Galco OWB for about $60.
