Re: Officers instructed my brother to commit a felony
<----- scratching my head.
I dont see an issue here. Maybe Im not understanding the post. I keep rereading it and still dont see it ( then again I have antler dust in my eyes right now , lol).
It is the homeowners house.
It is the homeowners gun.
The homeowner doesnt object to the gun being removed
The brother doesnt need a LTCF to remove or possess a firearm if the owner is willingly letting him take it.
???????
Edit:
unless of course if it is a handgun. I didnt realize what forum this was posted in, my bad.Last edited by riverpirate; January 9th, 2010 at 05:23 PM.

Re: Officers instructed my brother to commit a felony
I was gonna say something similar. If the brother is not restricted from possessing a firearm, it would be ok for him to take it with him. If he doesn't put the gun in his waistband and pull his shirt over it, it's not concealed. If he gets in the car and puts it in the trunk unloaded, he would be able to drive it home legally. The only thing, besides the police freaking out and telling an unknown person to possess a firearm, would be if he had a weapon exposed and was not in a holster. I could be totally way off with this.
If guns kill people, then pencils misspell words.

Re: Officers instructed my brother to commit a felony
We are talking about a hand gun and not a rifle/shotgun? For hand guns, From what i was told on here , i might have to go back and get it again. But the only way someone can possess a firearm that they dont own is either possess an LTCF , or be father son relation. Therefore , again from what i understand, said person who was asked to remove the firearm was not allowed..?? On the second note.. could the officer who instructed him to take the firearm be held responsible for breaking the law had said person taken the firearm..
