    Default 2010 Pennsylvania Farm Show

I know lots of folks have been to the complex for gun shows, etc., but I'm wondering if anyone has ever attended the Farm Show exposition itself, and if they've had any experiences or conversations with anyone on premise as a result of OC while there?

I'm going tomorrow, and I know there are usually quite a few PSP around. Also, since it's owned by the Pa. Dept. of Agriculture, preemption doesn't apply. Obviously, I'm a "try it and see what happens" kind of guy, but I wouldn't mind knowing if there has been any past clarification of policy there that I'm not aware of.

I go to the Farm Show every year but have never carried before. This year I'll be OCing but most importantly I won't have to listen to the wife complain about it . She's done a complete 180 on the subject over the past few months.

In regards to the Dept. of Agriculture owning the building my logic would be OC is legal in PA, the farm show is owned by a state department, therefore OC shouldn't be a problem in the building. Am I thinking about this the wrong way?

I don't think you're wrong in your thinking at all. My thinking is that if I'm told or shown a policy otherwise, I'm not likely to defy it, as preemption doesn't apply to the state.

Confront me on county or township property, and you're going to have to arrest and/or cite me, because I'm clear on the law and I'm not backing down.

    BTW...are you going tomorrow?

Last time I went there was the "Outdoor Show" (not farm show) was 2 years ago. I OC'd for a good part of the day (had coat that I took off due to overheating)
I shot the 3-D archery course as well, OC. Gun sat just above my hip quiver, almost like it was supposed to be there. Anyway...

While you're there you should stop by the Adams County Winery booth. You can taste a few of the wines that I make. If you are OCing they might even ask if you know me. I'm the company gun nut. You know, the one that they think will snap and come in shooting?
