    Default Address on Fingerprint Cards

I just had my prints done at my local PSP barracks. My Question is under the 'EMPLOYER AND ADDRESS' should that be the PSP barracks. It has been a while since I bought my suppressor and I wanted to check. I thought it was but the Trooper said it should be my address.

Ok I answered that question. It Is the ADDRESS
OF THE PERSON TAKING YOUR PRINTS.

Now my next Question can that be hand written or does it have to be printed?

Curious....why would it be the PSP address? Is the info from the check being sent to them?

I think the employer box is if you are being printed for a security check for a job....the info would be sent to the potential employer requesting the check.

For example...when i was printed for a non-resident non-PA carry license...the instructions said to leave the employer block blank.

From what I see on the form it is directly below the signature of who is taking the prints. Probably they want to be able to verify the prints are legit.
I'm not sure but thats my guess.

I have never put anything down for the address and have had several sets approved without issue. YMMV.

    FYI..

I just recieved an email back from the FES division of ATF stating

"It is the policy of the NFA Branch to accept the address of the department where the fingerprint conducted; this is to ensure that the prints were conducted at a legitimate law enforcement agency. We would not have time to verify your employer and employer address."

The way i read that...the address isnt even required. They will accept the address of the printer...but its not necessary to put it. If they "don't have time to verify your employer and employer address"...then they dont have time to verify who took your prints.
