Hey ammo collectors! What's this worth?
Last summer, I was on the hunt for reloading stuff for my M1 Garand. I have been saving brass for literally years of shooting, some competitively, some not.
Regardless, I answered an ad in the local newspaper for M2 ball '06 ammo, but by the time I called, the guy had sold it all. He then told me he had 1000 "tips" if I wanted them. I didnt have ALL of my reloading stuff at the time, but I knew I would need bullets eventually, so I agreed to buy them at a VERY reasonable price.
Lo and behold I went to pick them up, and 800 rounds of this stuff is still in its original packaging - marked W.R.A. (winchester repeating arms) Lot No.2!!!!
Check out the pics... I am not sure I want to reload it or donate it to a museum!

Only the government-and a few outlaws. I intend to be among the outlaws." (Edward Abbey, "The Right to Arms," Abbey's Road [New York, 1979])
I have my rifle. Do you?

Now thats interesting. You should post this in the garand section on the CMP forum. Very nice buy. I wouldn't use it, thats just me though.
