I carry a flash light day and night. Out of uniform it's a Surefire E1B carried in my support side pocket.

In uniform I have at least two flash lights on me.

And yes always at least one extra mag carried in a mag pouch, support side or a speed strip or speed loader if carrying the wheel gun.

Yes, Glock 19 in Kramer belt scabbard holster with extra mag in off side pouch. Small led light on de-jammer key holder always. Sometimes I will throw my small NEBO light or Surfire light in my jacket pocket.

I don't even take the garbage out at high noon without a spare magazine and flashlight. I view the flashlight (Surefire E2D) as an impact weapon that has the added advantage of allowing me to see in the dark.
