Default .40 S&W load data needed!

I need load data for .40 S&W using a 170gr lead bullet. The bullets are actually "coated" bullet from Precision Bullets, but they advise to use lead bullet data.

The powders I have on hand are W231, WSF, AA#5, and AA#7.

    Thanks!

When you say 'coated,' do you mean TMJ (total metal jacket)? If so, I've always loaded TMJs with the same load data as FMJs with no problems. I even load TMJs for my .500 S&W using FMJ data without any problems.

Sorry, I don't use any of the powders that you have listed. I use IMR 800-x for .40 and it has worked great. My recipe is 160 gr TMJ over 7.5 gr 800x.

    Hope this helps. Good luck.
