Recommend a BUG for me

I paid $400 for a new 638 (bodyguard style with alloy frame and Stainless barrel and cylinder). This gun weighs 15 oz empty. It is all stainless and alloy so rust is not likely a problem. It is only capable of .38, but a hot .38 is a significant load. I don't carry n an ankle holster, but would imagine that weight is critical down there? My model 60 is fine for belt carry, and .357 is comforting if not comfortable to actually shoot from it. In an ankle holster I would lean toward a light revolver.

Yeah, never expect to pay MSRP. Or I should say, if someone is asking MSRP then don't pay it. You can find the Taurus 85's under $400. Maybe look for a nice used one that you can get even cheaper.
