    Smile CZ-52 Importers

I recently acquires a CZ-52 7.62x25 Pistol thanks to GreyWolfJr on this board.

I have researched all of the markings but have been stumpted by the importer's mark.

The importer stamp says STM Kingston, TN.

I have searched extensively and can find no reference to this importer.

Most of this guns were imported by CAI or SOG.

Does anyone have any information on this importer?

    TIA

There is a Global Trade and Marketing listed as a FFL holder in Kingston TN.

Maybe there was a name change at some point and whatever the S stood for was changed to global?

Tennesee Guns and Intrac, both from Knoxville are the only ones I can recall from TN, and both of their marks are obvious.

You know, the stamping is not that clear. What I took for an "S" could certainly be a "G".

    I'll check this out.

    Thanks!

    Neil,

I know you are asking about a import marked pistol, but I have this to offer. If you ever come across a CZ-52 that has no import marks it was very likely brought to the US by someone stationed in Germany at one of the military bases. I was at Hahn Air Base '89-91. I brought back several pistols that were virtually unheard of in the US, or rather only seen in gun magazine articles. The CZ-52 was one of those exotic beasts then. (as well as the CZ-75s..). I brought back a CZ-52 that appears to be unissued. I still have it - and its absent the import mark. Beautiful piece of kit. Enjoy!
