Driving with ccw in PA
Where is your gun while you are driving? Is it in your IWB holster or in the center console concealed etc......? Thanks

Re: Driving with ccw in PA
It's not much good in a console or compartment IMO
Not to mention it's easy to forget when it's stashed.FUCK BIDEN

My handgun is always physically carried on my person. I would never place it anywhere off my person while driving.

Generally it stays where it is when I'm not driving.
If it's in a shoulder holster it's easy to get to.. IWB (at 1:00) can be a little more work.
I have a buddy who straps on an ankle holster every time he gets in the car and movies his IWB carry to ankle. Real easy to get to while driving.

Re: Driving with ccw in PA
When I drive with my LTCF I usually keep my gun in my OWB. A few times I've put it between the seat and console for easier access, but I didn't like having to reholster it when I arrived places. The only time it goes in my glove box or other storage is when I'm going somewhere I absolutely can't have it. For those situations, which are rare, I keep a gun lock in the car, so I can remove the magazine and keep the gun from being functional should the car or it be stolen.
The other problem I have when driving with my gun in its holster is it is difficult to reach, especially in the winter when additional layers are covering it. I have practiced drawing from the holster while seated and with a seatbelt on, and it is not nearly fast enough should I ever have to do so. Anyone have tips/suggestions for speedy access while in the car?

Instead of just carrying a LTCF, which is really just a piece of paper or plastic, (almost worthless in a life or death situation) you might want to carry a CCW, or concealed carry weapon. It might be a little more effective.
I carry mine holstered. Before I get in the car I typically remove any bulky clothing, for comfort as well as access.A well regulated Militia, being necessary to the security of a free State, the right of the people to keep and bear Arms, shall not be infringed.

Re: Driving with ccw in PA
If I'm pocket carrying a snubby, I'll move it to my jacket pocket, passenger seat (close) or in the console. If it's a larger handgun, it goes on the passenger seat of in the console.
I have put the snubby between the driver's seat and console occasionally.
Now since I got an LCP and have one through the break-in period, that's carried in an upper vest or shirt pocket, so I can leave the other guns in their original locations (pocket holster or OWB holster).
Between the LCP and the accelerator pedal, I reckon I can stop or evade any fight or attack.Well, pushed 60 too hard so now I am the big SIX-OH. Now I can be a real pain in the ass! And, who says growin' old isn't fun!!

Yea I agree, your CCW does little good if it's locked in a console somewhere. Once the firearm goes in the holster, it stays there until I go to bed.

Secured in my holster, on my belt.

I hate IWB holsters. And strong side is a pia when driving, that's why I like cross-draw, not even the seat-belt gets in the way and I can clear the steering wheel left and right without much trouble.
