Rather inconsistent...he calls it a permit on the cover...calls it a license in the Q&A...then in the Recip section calls it a permit and then calls it a license/permit.....

From an outsider perspective, it's pretty sad, that the issue-er should need "reminding" the law period

It's almost as if LEO's are on drugs or something.

I'll bet this Sheriff has a sticky note next to his bed that reads "try not to make yourself look like an idiot." Next to that is a note that reads "try to learn from making yourself look like an idiot."

My opinion is that at least he is reaching out to us and communicating and wanting our feedback.Am sure not to many other Sheriff's are doing this around the state. I would have liked to seen more than the one class by now but he's moving slow and I'll be patient.

I am really interested in what they teach in the District Attorney's Firearms Law class.

    (ETA: Slow fingers)
The opportunity 'next year' to take the 'Guns & Law' class with the DA or an ADA involved could be a great opportunity to clarify how they expect their LEOs to respond to MWAHG situations (OC or CC)....

And whoever goes, be sure to record the class....
