Show me your "poor man" "tactical"fixes

Im curious too see what other people do to modify their load out on a limited budget...

Things like using old bicycle inner tube for a better grip around pistol grips,duct tape "mag pul" type things ,replacing the heavy a.l.i.c.e. clips with heavy cable ties.

stuff like that,things the "poor man" can do to improve his load out utilizing things that he can find,stuff not normally associated with "tactical"crap

Im a scavenger by nature And love a good dumpster dive(construction dumpsters mostly)

Just ways to get by without paying out the nose for stuff.

Id love to hear some of your creative and cost effective ideas

Started with a great shooting K98 8mm Mauser that I got from my father



then I took it apart, stuck it into an ATI scout stock I got for $59. Added a $69 Centerpoint 4-16x42 scope from Walmart, and slapped on a $40 bipod.



now I have a long range "tactical" looking deer killer.
