Re: AMC-Loews tweaks policies
Our neighbor has let their 6 year old watch horror movie nights at their place. I swung by one time to get something and she was watching house of 1000 corpses or devil's rejects with them. My daughter's lucky if she get's to watch PG-13 stuff. We always watch anything we're not sure of her watching first before letting her see it.

Another buisness and firearms policies: AMC Lowes
Sparked by this thread: http://forum.pafoa.org/allegheny-27/...ml#post1040773
I have posted a question challenging the stance of the theater chain on weapons carrying. As their feedback is run with how many people support an issue, maybe it would be best to get more folks on board to let them know that you are also willing to put your money where your rights are welcome.

Re: AMC-Loews tweaks policies
lol I figured i'd spark some conversation over there
Did you mention the "if the gun is the problem, dont allow police to carry either" part in your letter to AMC? I'm really interested (and so is dogma) in what they have to say. I mean, what could they say except "we dont trust our patrons" ??

Re: AMC-Loews tweaks policies
Yeah I feel like that is pretty ridiculous to take a 6 yr old to an R movie so I am glad they wont be allowing it anymore.
When I saw 300 at pittsburgh mills, the couple next to me had an infant with them. I guess it was probably too young to get influenced by the movie but it still seemed very inappropriate.

Re: AMC-Loews tweaks policies
My girlfriend and I went to see Orphan at the Lowes. There was a couple there with a young child that kept crying out. I don't think at the movie, just being a child. I ducked out and told what I though was a manager (turned out to be security) about them. He came in stood near where I said they where seated, gave them one warning after the child made a disruption then waited for them to do it again and kicked them out.
