I got one back when they were still under 300.00 , it will out shoot both of my springers and colt 1911's , and the rock only shoots wolf ammo , I shoot better "more expensive" ammo in the other 1911's
The people who have not bought one while the price is still cheap will be saying how they "shouldve" got one some day

I've got one, love it. It locks up solid, there's no slop in the rail to frame fit, it shots better that I can hold. Probablt the only drawback, unless you are going to use it as an accessory for a WWII reenactment, is the sights. There basically are what the US Military had on the .45. I'm changing mine out when my Brownells order arrives next week.

For the money I don't think you can go wrong.

While it's probably not a 50k rds marvel of metalurgy, for <$400, I don't think you can beat it. They shoot well and report very few issues. I will have a commander soon.

As implied above, the prices are going up and they are getting harder to find. I know you can have one tomorrow from John at Pro Load, for $369.

I've got one, love it. I don't plan on using it for IPSC or anything like that, but I really don't see why you couldn't... for a while at least. Check out my thread in the photo forum for pictures.

shot from various ranges. it outshoots me. Kimber Warrior grips make it look much more expensive.
