    Default Astra A-75

A friend of mine called me the other night and asked me if I would be interested in buying a Astra A-75 in 45 cal. I told him that I was not interested. He said that he needed money bad and he had taken it to a local shop and they said they would give him 200.00 for it. I told him I would lend him the money but he wouldn't hear of it so I told him that I would buy it even though I only have 9mm and 40 S&W. Took it to the range and fired 150 rounds through it. It feels well made and shoots very well. All in all I feel that I got a good gun for the money. The only thing is magazines cost about 40.00 each.

I had one and it always ran great.
There is s gun shop in Tamaqua PA, I forget the name, But the magazine lady is there and can get some mags for you.
See if you can find 64Jeeper here on the forum.
He's got the Astra A-75 now and it's been running great.
Alot like a Sig in style, I forget which model it copied,

I think the shop you're thinking about is called ED's, in addition to the shop they also do a lot of gunshows.

Yes, you got a great deal and a very nice shooter. I have had one for a few years and have never had a problem with it. Every so often you can find Mag's on Gunbroker for a decent price.

Good luck, I'm sure you will enjoy your new Pistol.

Astra made good guns in their day.
    I own a A-60 (high cap .380)

It's a safe queen these days though because mags and parts in my experience non existent, particularly the A-60
