    Default LTCF process

I handed in my app yesterday. My question is they took no money from me, or do I pay it when approved. I was told it would take thirty days. does that sound about right from other peoples experience ?

Yes, you pay when you pick up your permit. I was told that it would be 6 to 8 weeks before I heard anything, but I got my letter two weeks later. It may take longer for you. I think I might hold a record.

I just got mine a week ago... took exactly 36 days ( that did include Thanksgiving and Christmas though ). The process is quick once you get the approval letter in the mail, go see Erica at the court house and give her your name and that you received your approval letter. You'll pay your 31 dollars, they will take your picture and hand you your LTCF in about 2 minutes! Enjoy the next couple weeks of checking the mail box... sometime even twice a day! ha And remember, MAIL IS NOT DELIVERED ON SUNDAY!

It only took me 15 days to get my letter. Well, technically 14 days due to MLK day.
