Just found this websight, eagle cam watching a nest in Virginia. The trees sway so much I fell out of my chair watching, but it's a great view...

Look for any use the eaglecam link half way down the page. There is also a falconcam found on the state.pa.us website. The falcons are perched on a ledge of the Rachel Carlson Building in Harrisburg.

At this time the eagle's eggs are beginning to hatch.

My buddy has a place on the Allegheny river near Youngsville. We see bald eagles all the time flying up and down the river valley. One flew over my head about 20 feet up, amazing sight.

Saw a bald eagle in King of Prussia about 5 months ago...I thought that was kind of strange...

Well maybe I was wrong. I just ran into a worker from Fish & Pay and he said there`s a pair of Osprey that have been fishing the lake.

There are a few down on the Susquehanna. I follow around a pretty experienced birder and he keeps me straight on what we are seeing. He says that eagles are referred to as "flying planks." Their wings are pretty wide and uniform. When you see one that reference kind of clicks.

The last one I saw was down at Brunner Island on the Susquehanna. It was on the ground pretending not to see a momma duck on a nest who was a few feet away eyeballing it. It was a pretty interesting standoff. The eagle spotted us and gave up on the duck nest.

    Neat link. Thanks.

Those eagles just hatching are down in VA if you noticed. Ours won't be laying eggs for a couple weeks yet.

One of the nesting pair that we have in town made it back. The wife saw them a week or so ago. She said about 10 cars were pulled over because they were perched right next to the bridge because that was the only place w/ open water in town. Makes for nice easy viewing.

Don't doubt that you saw an eagle at Fish and Pay. I and many others have seen them there too. There are always osprays fishing the lake. If the employee only sees two then he/she is not paying very good attention. I've counted more than that just driving by on my way to work.
