    Default Hunter safety classes

My friend has two 12 yr olds and is looking to get them into a Hunter safety class before the upcoming season.

He is looking for something fairly local to Imperial Pa.

This would be within a 20/30 min ride.

    McDonald SC
    Collier
    Cory
    Forest Grove
    Dormont/Mt Lebonan

    A little further is Clairton
    Library
    Northside

Does anyone have any additional info on where other classes might be held?

I told him Pitcarin/monroeville has the class
He has checked the PGC website and the paper.

Sometimes local firehalls offer this. My son and I took it at Rennerdale firehall like 17years ago.

    Thanks,

Coraopolis has their hunter safty course Sept 8 & 9. It's free but you need to sign up for the course. You don't need to be a member. You can pre-register on the Pennsylvania Game Commission website or try calling the club 412 264-9920.

checking the pgc site is the best option.

they do add new ones as they become avail., so if he checked a whike ago, there might be a better one avail now. being this close to season, though, i think all of the dates are pretty much set by now.

Is your friend's 12 year old by any chance named Brittney? Because I just got this email through our contact form:

Just follow the directions. This is a state wide directory.
