Would like to build my AR-15. Need some help.

First off what kind of AR you want to build? like a carbine or rifle, M4, mid-lenght, target, CQB, so many configurations to choose from.

Second is budget, very important in a build, will determine what kind of parts we can suggest.

Once you figure these 2 out then we can start pointing you in the proper direction.

settle down francis. You asked where to start and I just told you. Some people on here have no clue how to build an ar, so I was giving a generic basic answer to your question. You said you didnt know where to start. Dont ask open-ended questions. If you already know you need the above then re- phrase your question NOOB....

Excellent thread that goes over the process step by step from parts to a completed, ready to fire rifle. The only thing you have to do is parts selection. As arjohnson implied above, parts selection is definitely the hard part. Building them is actually pretty simple with the right tools.
