Arctic Blast IDPA Shoot at WRPC

Is anyone going this weekend? Looks like there's going to be 90 shooters. I wound up in group #5. Man I hope it gets a little warmer or it's going to be brutal.

I know this thread is two years old... But did anybody shoot the arctic blast this year? I ended up 7th overall.

21st overall after pissing away my whole match on the second to last stage where i missed the two heads lol damn cleaning the gun stage!!! LOL took my 1st place ssp/expert down to a 3rd place ssp/expert. Was a fun day though and the weather wasnt too bad at all.

Thought you had a good chance at winning the overall match but I guess a couple of those after noon out of staters were ridiculous lol
Any chance you going to shoot the Carolina Cup?

My plan leading up to the match was to overall win. I had a rough start with the weakhand stage when I threw a three. After that I had trouble letting loose and going fast. When I was done I was in third from the guys the day before.

As for the cup. It's not in the budget or schedule for this year. I have to sort out some equipment trouble and priorities but I don't think I'll be getting to too many more sanctioned matches this year saddly.

Hey in case you havent heard Craig Buckland who was at our match is a competitor on this seasons "Top shot". So your in very good company in the top 7! See you at the next match.
