Yugo M70AB2 modification project (part III)
My brother Nate and I finally got to test out my C.I.A., Inc. Yugo M70ab2 AK that I had the H&K G3 sight system installed on. The sights are more accurate than the standard AK sights, and the rear diopter sight drum allows for different sights, for different distances. The gunsmith who added the sights sighted the rifle in at about 25 yards, so we didn't have to do much of anything. We just lined up a bunch of targets and had at it. I'm really pleased with my H&K G3 mod. The rifle now looks more like a Galil in 7.62x39. If you know a gunsmith or have some free time yourself, I suggest having it done. I hope you enjoy the video.

Does the sight loose zero when the dust cover is removed for cleaning?

Good question Azzy
Also give some more details on how he did that front tube thing going from the front sight to the gas block.
Looks nice and thanks for the pic and video.

Glad that you like the video and pics. Thanks. I bought a section of conduit from Lowe's and had it cut to the size of the space of the gap between the H&K G3 front sight post and gas block of the Yugo. I then had a friend wire weld it onto the G3 FSP and the gas block of the rifle. I bought a metal end cap and some Loctite epoxy to cover the end of the conduit and FSP. I painted the barrel, FSP and dust cover with Rust-Oleum 241169 High Heat Ultra Enamel Spray.
