Pgh Area AK47 Finder - Seen any? Post it here
The other day when I put my Double Stack WASR AK47 on layaway, I got the last one at the Monroeville store.
I called a few stores this evening(11/123/08)and the Monroeville store had gotten 4 more in today. I went to look at them to see if any were better than the one I have on layaway, and while there, one of them sold, leaving 3... Better HURRY!
These are the stores I called today:
Monroeville - THREE Hi cap $399 (sale price) WASRs
2 higher priced ones remain, as well as 5 single stacks.($279/$289)
UPDATE
N Versailles - ZERO hi cap WASRs - 1 folder, and 4 single stacks
Waterworks - ZERO hi cap WASRs
NOTE: This store has 10 people w/rainchecks, so guess who gets them when they do arrive... hint: likely not you
N. Hills - ZERO hi cap WASRs
There are a lot of people looking for these things.
If you know where they can be found, pass it along!
Thanks!I called to check my ZIP CODE!....DY-NO-MITE!!!

I got a 30-rd WASR at the North Hills Dunham's. Someone had it on layaway but came in shortly before I did and picked out something else. Other than my WASR, they had two 10-rd WASRs and an AK-74.

I just got Southern Ohio Gun's November flyer... lots of AK's in there. maybe ask your FFL to call them?
"The rifle is the weapon of democracy. If guns are outlawed, only the government will have guns. Only the police, the secret police, the military. The hired servants of our rulers. Only the government-and a few outlaws. I intend to be among the outlaws." (Edward Abbey, "The Right to Arms," Abbey's Road [New York, 1979])
I have my rifle. Do you?

Guzyk's were not answering phones this week.
A lady answered on Wed, and when I asked if they had any AKs in stock, she said, "Call back on Sat, we're doing inventory."
Maybe they are getting ready for this weekend's gun show. I'll look them up there and hope they don't jack up prices just for the show.I called to check my ZIP CODE!....DY-NO-MITE!!!

The dunhams in Bridgeville usually has a good selection. If you look about a week or so back I mention I found a Yugo UF for a co-worker. The guy behind the counter said that none of the AKs are "flying off the shelf". So I'm going to guess that they will have some WASRs.

You didn't specify when you saw these alleged doublestacks.
Like I said above, they got a few in yesterday, and as of last night at 8:00pm, there were 3 left.
They DO have a nice assortment of high end military style rifles... just got most of them in a few weeks ago. I've never seen a Dunham's carry so many of that type of rifle.
I guess I'll see what's shakin' at the gun show in the morning... should be interesting, to say the least.I called to check my ZIP CODE!....DY-NO-MITE!!!
