I'll throw my support for pocket carry in this situation.

When I have a tool belt on I put my AMT 380 Backup in a zippered case and wedge it into one of the pouches.

Lately though, I've been wearing 5.11 tactical pants all the time and they have a second zippered cargo pocket behind the outside velcro cargo pocket that I keep it in, holstered.

I realize it's not as easily accessible in an emergency but I could always bop someone in the head with my hammer while I retrieve the firearm.
