What is there to do in the Selinsgrove area?

I have to go to Selinsgrove for a gun I'm buying & since I'm driving there for just that, I wanted to make the trip more worthwhile by taking in some of the local history or browsing some antique shops.
Problem is, I'm all googled out & still haven't found a damn thing to do on a Sunday anywhere in that area.
Checked Snyder, Northumberland, & Schuylkill counties & can't find anything of interest except one 18th century log tavern which is now a Museum... which is closed Sundays.

Anyone have any suggestions for that area or anywhere along 11/15 between Harrisburg & Northumberland?

Looking for historic 18th & 19th century homes open for tours or antique shops.

Skeeters is supposed to have good BBQ, though....

Ain't nothin' along that strip but river & porn shops. I used to drive that road a few times a month between 81 & Sunbury..

Don't know about their hours; it's a fairly funky schedule. They are open on certain Sundays.

A bit off the beaten path, but regularly open on Sundays.

Like Maquis said, if you're into porn shops you'll love the drive up 11/15 to Selingsgrove... if not, there isn't too much to see... especially on a Sunday.

Down the road a little bit, just past Lewisburg there is a small reptile zoo called Clyde Peeling's Reptiland. They're open on Sundays too. Not exactly local history or antique... but it's neat to see. Just be warned, it's not very big. They have some pretty unique animals - but you certainly can't spend a whole day there....

Oh, I forgot, there is also the Lewisburg Flea Market (20-30 min from Selingsgrove on 11/15). They're open every Sunday year round. It's indoors and they have tons of antiques, military paraphenilia, and other flea market stuff!

Those are about the only things I can think to do around that area... and nothing closer.

Thanks King, the Priestly house looks interesting. The buggy museum looked good to me but the wife wasn't into that one... isn't open again till March anyway though.

Of course, he could drive up to Bloom and pour beers into Max, right? Russell's makes a decent burger, too, although some of the noses in there can be aimed so high up and hard that they just about punch through the ceiling.

Too bad this isn't in better weather. The ferry at Millersburg can be fun, and it isn't too far down the non-beaten path side of the river to go to Coleman's Surplus when they're open.

If Skeeters is the same people that were in Chambersburg in the 1980's/ early 90's they are definitely worth stopping. Matter of fact I see a motorcycle trip from Marion as soon as the weather breaks.
