He contacted me about buying a rifle, we agreed on a price, time & place to meet.

I starting heading to the meeting place and he calls me 15 minutes before we are supposed to meet and says the following.

Ross11988: I had to go home first and now my car is stuck in the driveway.

Me: Thats ok, I'll come to you.

Ross: Well I dont have all the money and I was planning on hitting an ATM.

Me: No problem I can take you to one.

Ross: Will you take a check?

Me: absolutely not.

Ross: well maybe we could do it tomorrow.

At this point it just started to sound like no matter what solution I gave him he will just have an excuse ready.

Me: No thanks, I have others interested.

Ross: well ok, have a good new year.

I don't want to come off as being petty, but warming up my truck and driving 45 minutes round trip in this shitty weather for nothing kinda got me pissed off.

Met Ross11988 halfway to sell a rifle to him. Great communication, provided me with extra feedback from another source before we met. Smooth, easy transaction, even in the pouring rain!
