    From what I can tell this is a pre ban Norinco 56. Dad got it from the original owner in the mid '90s and the original owner ordered a bunch in the early '80s. He basically got his FFL and ordered a case of these and sold them to his buddys from what I remember him saying.

    I only seen one other picture in this thread with the under folding pig sticker like mine has. I knew it was ''rare'' but can anyone tell what it is for sure?

    I was told it was bought in the early '80s and that it was Chinese. So I figured it was a Norinco 56 but I don't know for sure. The other one I seen was a Polytech, any ideas?

    This looks like what became a MAK-90 once the flash hider was cut off and the stock and grip replaced with the thumbhole stock.
