Not today, but a storm that went through Susquehanna County on Friday KO'd my DSL modem and I was offline until Monday.

Well, I had to go around a downed tree this morning with the Jeep. We had as close to a tornado as I have seen hit here at work and we had to close everything down for an hour or so. McKnight road was flooded for another hour at least. We lost power about 6 times (but at least this location has a few backups) and I still don't know if my way home is flooded.

    I'll keep ya posted!

We got slammed all around my area! I had to take a 10 mile detour home from work because of downed trees!

Last Sundays storm through her took out my motherboard, processor, CD drive and video card, cable modem, DirecTV, and land line.

Funny, I thought the 1/16" air gap in my surge suppressor would prevent the lightning that just traveled 30,000 feet to earth from zapping my electronics.

Check for a surge protector warranty...some companies offer warranties that will pay for your stuff if it gets zapped!

Surge protectors are crap, get a UPS if you actually want protection.

Storm? We got some rain, I think there was thunder....

My airbag light came on after driving through a couple feet of water. Oh the humanity...

Don't even get me started on the UPS at work. The server rack stayed up but all the workstations went down like a dress on prom night. Everything came back up in a second but we still had to reboot everything and pray the back end stuff was still functioning.

    good times
